I’m good for slow and steady walking but not so much anymore for bursts of energy. At close to 81 (through no fault of my own), I should, and do, feel grateful to be as active as I am (still able to enjoy boogie boarding all year around). We had a nice trip to New Zealand, but I kept thinking about the beauty of places like Torrey and the fact that rich Americans go to NZ but have never been to southern Utah and the like. And then there’s Carmel and Big Sur (where we will be going next) and the coast of Maine (where we will visit our daughter and her family in early May) and Belize (mid April) and Cuba (end of March for a week) and Boulder, CO (visit other daughter). My goal is to die exhausted and broke.
