Elk and deer hunting in southern Utah is becoming more and more sought after by serious trophy trackers. You may find world-class animals of either species with much less competition for space during the hunt. Fremont River Guides serves all these areas and can outfit you with a great drop camp as well.
Elk Hunting
Utah is known for its exceptional Rocky Mountain Elk hunting in as vast and untouched of areas in the lower 48 as can be found. Our seasoned guides will pack you into the backcountry for what is truly a hunt of a lifetime.
Our elk hunts can be as many days in length as you would desire, but we recommend 4-7 days. Accommodations far exceed industry standards to allow for a comfortable and memorable experience. We do everything to provide guests with the most comfortable backcountry camp facilities possible. Tents and camp gear are top-of-the-line and our meals are sure to please the taste buds after a long day in the field.
Deer Hunting
With only a select number of hunts per year, our experienced guides can take you into thousands of acres of private ranch land for trophy class deer with a spot and stalk method of take that makes for an unforgettable experience. Of course, the public domain offers excellent opportunities for trophy bucks as well.
Other Options
Any of these hunts can be conducted out of lodge style accommodations with all the amenities included or by drop camp. If you tag out early you could fill the days shooting upland birds or waterfowl (seasons apply) or wet a fishing line in the nearby Fremont River for trout.
