Catching a trout on a fly is the culmination of learning many of the enjoyable skills necessary to be successful. Whether it be tying a fly, casting, entomology, stream tactics, stealth or patience, one must learn to be skillful in all these areas. This is what fly-fishing is all about and the challenge is what makes it so addicting!

This is the year for you to learn fly-fishing. If you’ve always wanted to try but never had the time, now’s the time! If you’ve discovered what fly-fishing is all about, now’s the time to learn more about it! Go ahead. Reward yourself now and start planning your fly-fishing school of your own. Our program is very comprehensive. ImageLearn in a variety of fishing environments from Stillwater to small stream presentations. We can teach you everything you need to know to fly-fish on your own. You will have no more need to ask your buddy how to cast or tie on a fly.

Of course certified casting instructors who are professionals in the art of fly-fishing will teach you. They will ensure you’ll come away with a working knowledge of the sport. We have access to several spring-fed lakes on private waters for instruction on fly-casting and you’ll have access to miles of the Fremont River with your instructors. The famous Boulder Mountains are nearby, and after school our licensed guides can put you in the middle of the finest wild trout fishing in the west.
