Warmer than average temperatures throughout the winter months and great fishing continues in southern Utah! Our local waters are producing well. For those who know and enjoy the opportunities mild winter conditions can provide flyfishers, don't hesitate to give southern Utah a shot. Water flows have been cut back bringing for downriver diversion work. This has translated into unusually good water levels and better than normal angling opportunities.
Streamers are likely to fish best for those who know how to use them. Some good dry fly action is still to be had with BWO's and midges hatching plentifully on warmer days.
